What is xDub?

xDub is an AI dubbing platform made in India. You upload a video once and it is transcribed, translated and re-voiced into up to 12 Indian languages (Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia and Assamese) in the original speaker's own voice, with subtitles and optional lip-sync. Which languages are supported?

Twelve: Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese and English. Any of them can be the source; you pick the targets.

What is the difference between a voice dub and a lip-sync dub?

A voice dub replaces the audio with the translated speech in the speaker's voice and leaves the picture untouched. A lip-sync dub also re-renders the mouth so it matches the new words. Both are live. Lip-sync comes in three options: Pro (our dub in the speaker's cloned voice, then lip-synced, 13 credits a minute), Precision (12) and Fast (6). Precision and Fast don't cover Assamese yet.

Is my voice data safe?

Your files stay private. Downloads only work through signed, expiring links, and source videos are deleted 30 days after your last delivery. Audio is processed by our AI processing partners only to generate your output, and voice cloning runs only on your own upload, with your consent recorded per project.

How long does a dub take?

Minutes, not days. In our tests a 2-minute video dubbed into three languages was ready in about 3 minutes. Longer videos and more languages take proportionally longer.

What exactly is a credit?

1 credit = 1 dubbed minute in one language, billed in 30-second blocks. A 2-minute video in 3 languages costs 6 credits. If a language fails, its credits come straight back to your wallet.

Can I edit the output?

Yes. Read the dub line by line in the editor, change any line's text and re-voice just that line. Each applied fix costs 0.5 credit. You also get subtitles for every language.

Can I clone my own voice?

Yes. Upload or record a 10–30 second clean sample (with the speaker's consent), and the clone can narrate scripts in all 12 languages. Creation costs a flat 5 credits, refunded if the sample is rejected.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Buy a credit pack when you need it and spend it on any tool. New accounts get free trial credits; outputs made with trial credits carry a small watermark.
